On August 11th 2016 a new
book “Hidalgos de Noalla” (Little nobility in Noalla) will be introduced. Sponsored by the Comunidad de Montes
de Noalla (Community Mounts of Noalla) the book will be presented at 8:00 PM at
the Casa Forestal As Canteiras.
The book approaches the history of San
Esteban de Noalla in Pontevedra by researching the genealogy of the little
nobility of this Galician parish. It includes a complete genealogical
reconstruction of the Paadín, Radio and Trelles lineages, the three most
influential during the XVII and XVIII centuries. Scope of the project will
include their origins, the composition of the families (spouses and children)
and an assessment of the social advancement or decline of these lineages.
